Could not believe how bad Acapulco has gotten. Used to be a very nice port a couple decades ago and even a decade ago. Dirty, crowded, people are desperate to sell and it is apparent with Vendors setting up tents on the sidewalks of downtown in front of stores. I will never visit again, disappointing.

Took a tour of the Harbor and up the side of a mountain for pictures. Traffic was terrible and street level views of the water were obscured due building taking up every inch of waterfront. We have been there several times, so excursion was needed.

Took the historical tour -- spent too much time at the chapel -- could have seen it from the distance -- no mention of the many celebrity homes we could have seen -- would have loved more history and more sight-seeing of beautiful homes in the area.

Seemed like another overcrowded polluted big city in anywhere, Latin America.

Wasn't sure about going on a shore excursion. Too much crime in the area.

Could have been longer; however, we dinned at a wonderful restaurant overlooking all which was quite romantic.
