Tender port so can’t just walk off ship. Bit of a wait for a tender when returning to ship at end of day. We did Tropical Plantation team tour here. Was a great way to spend morning. Wandered streets of Lahaina town in the afternoon. Had lunch and shaved ice under the Banyan tree.

Tender port but don't let that stop you. Great walking right off the tender pier. We went to the aquarium , it was fun and on par with San Fransisco.

Walking Tour was definitely a great way to see and learn about the island.

Took the local bus to Whalers Village. Outdoor mall with high priced shops.

Loved loved loved this point we stayed on the beach and went shopping beach was beautiful. We went to the old Lahaina luau which was excellent. Will go back

This was the only port that I prepaid my excursion and it wasn't worth it. Prepaid excursions are rip-offs!!

We took the bus to the beach. I recommend not to get a day pass however, because the bus was full to return and the next bus didn't come for an hour. We ended up just using Uber to return. If there's more than two of you, it's just as cheap to use Uber.

You're right in Lahaina with plenty to do or see nearby. Catch a boat for snorkling/scuba right at the port instead of booking an excursion through the cruise line.
