Wonderful shopping area off of Front Street. Must visit the Banyon Tree in the center of the shopping district. But be careful as the cruise ships cannot dock here, they have to dock on in Maui and you have to travel to Lahaina, it’s approximately 30 minutes away. We took a cab and with the fare and tip, it was $90. I feel like the cab driver could have told us there was a bus you could take for $2.00 per person. 😩

We booked a Princess trip to Hana, an all day trip and very expensive. There were six of us in our group and we were assigned to a very old van. Our guide said that they had just installed new seats but not to set in the one next to the door because it had a large pillar obstructing the view. My wife and I sat in the back seats but her seat belt was broken so she had to set in the middle of the back seat, no view. The windows were narrow restricting any view up and there were two other large pillars. The only good views we had were when we stopped and got out! They advertised a picnic lunch. This consisted of chicken and fish wrap sandwiches and a pasta dish. This would have been fine if the was any fish in the wrap, it was mostly cabbage with two tiny pieces of fish. Wasted an entire day, complained to Princess and they refunded 25% of the cost, still they should never have used this company for this type of tour. I think that this company was used for an overflow group.
