So many things to see and do in Honolulu. Take any number of tours or hang out a Waikiki Beach. I feel that a rewarding tour is a visit to the Polynesian Cultural Center on the opposite side of the island. If you love to shop.....go the the main Mall in Honolulu. It doesn't disappoint. It's so large, it would take a couple of days to get around to all of the stores. Catch a shuttle from the ship directly to the mall and back.

The island was great; however, we were disappointed in Pearl Harbor. The Arizonia Memorial was closed for the past year and we were not told in advance. Normally, they were taking boats around the memorial but it was too windy that day and we didn't even get to do that.

The city was nice, and the weather great. Stopped at pearl harbor on the "stars and stripes" tour. Visited the USS Missouri and enjoyed the tour of her. I highly recommend this tour, informative and inspiring. I was a little disappointed in the tour as a whole however. Let me explain. Our driver was fantastic. His father was on the California when it was attacked at pearl harbor, so he knew his stuff. The drive to and from was filmed with great stories you couldn't hear from anyone else. The bad part comes from the fact that we had people on our tour that were also scheduled for another tour later in the day. So as to not disappoint them and cause them to miss their next tour we were all rushed. We didn't get to see everything on the mighty Mo due to time, so I was a bit disappointed in that. So if I had to do it over again I would've probably done things differently. Pearl harbor was awesome. But even here people sometimes lose sight of what's important. On more than one occasion the on site park officer had to tell people to be quiet. A unfortunate evil when dealing with people who don't speak English as a first language. It's a place of remembrance and people need to respect that! Again there wasn't enough time. But I understand, they gets lots of people wanting to go there and in order to keep everything moving you need to go with the flow. A dream come true for both my wife and I since this was on our bucket list. Something everyone should see in my opinion.

Been there before. Rented a car and did own sightseeing. Excursions were too expensive.

went to waikiki beach and then Hermain’s luau that night. Not sure I would do the luau again. too many people stuffed in busses transported to the luau. Seems to be more the older (75+) crowd

Waikiki beach was fantastic and some what protected from the ocean waves. Beautiful white sand and turquoise water .

We only had a few hours to explore the port and did not do an excursion. It seems like a great city, but we didn't see too much of it. Waikiki beach was beautiful, but so crowded, way too upscale and touristy for us.
