This is an overnight port. We rented a Jeep to get around. Part of our group used to live here so we did not book excursions. Plan on traffic during your travels. If you like architecture, make sure to visit the 'Iolani Palace, beautiful and so full of history. " We also hiked up to Manoa Falls, about a 2 mile roundtrip and also took in the Nu'uanu Pali Lookout. So much to do and so little time to do it.

Lots of things to do here, and the scenery is fantastic. We were here for five days before the cruise, and explored at our leisure with a rental car. We covered the whole island in our time here, and took a day to fly to Kauai where we again rented a car and explored the whole island from dusk to dawn. The canyon on Kauai's west side is spectacular!

The ships dock just a short Uber ride to Waikiki where you can stroll around on Waikiki beach. Driving on Oahu is just like driving on the mainland, with mostly the same laws.

Each port was wonderful. On Oahu, we did the Chiefs Luau and it was wonderful. Visited Pearl Harbor, the Dole Plantation and the North Shore. All were great!
