Do Not Miss Volcanoes NationalPark,again, rent a car and drive or hike through,also drive down the crater rim drive. Then head over to Akaka Falls!

didn't really enjoy the part we saw. Took the bus hop-on, hop-off and just saw a small waterfall and candy factory. Wish we had had two days in Honolulu and skipped Hilo

Jumping off place for the volcano-a must do. Hilo town itself very small. Princess does not sail by the lava flow at night.

Akaka Falls, Rainbow Falls, and black sand beach are a must. Don't forget to eat at Barney's Drive-in to experience local fare.
