A good location for a tour - not a great port to try to walk out of. Since all the tours to Hawaii Volcano National Park were already booked on the ship, we chose to book our tour with Shipmate. Best tour possible. Great transportation and tour guide, Edmond, did an outstanding job of showing us the sites of the city and national park.

Took the Mauna Koa peak tour. Amazing trip, amazing elevation at 13,768 ft about the ocean. Then took UBER to a local fabric warehouse where my wife stocked up on great fabrics!

Went Ziplining through Paradise - has 8 ziplines, last one almost 1/2 mile and nearly 50mph. Was exhilarating and all the staff were very friendly.

You are a long way from anywhere at the pier so an excursion is almost a must we tried to set up an excursion but never heard back from Celebrity in time
