Espanola is a great island. The hiking is hot and rocky but just get in shape to do it before you go.

Did the short, difficult trail hike. Beautiful. The trail hike was tough (you need a walking stick or two-they provide) but the views of the animals & scenery were amazing and shouldn't be missed- Sally Lightfoot Crabs, "Christmas" Marine Iguanas, Sea Lions of all ages, Nazca Boobies etc.

Took the excursion with the long, difficult walk on rocky trail; saw a lot of wild life - blue-footed boobies and the mating dances were incredible, as were the albatrosses

The islands each had something to offer. Need to have more time between some activities- a very rushed time. The snorkeling needs to be better planned so that they may still do another afternoon trip- like start the activity 30 minutes earlier. Snorkeling on the last morning before leaving??? I heard a lot of complaints about that from my travel mate. Have one last Zodiac ride at the last stop- the rocks prevented me from leaving the ship. The beach looked wonderful but swimming out in the direct sun for 2 hours or so without any shade was not for me. So, I stayed on the ship the last day and did not see the waved Albatross except from a distance

First island we visited. Saw sea lions, marine iguanas, and birds. Saw so many our expectations were exceeded and this was our first stop.
