Opting not to do the Viking add on ..we did this final stop on our own and spent 2 night at the Bel Sito e Berlino just off St. Mark's Square. Lovely hotel and Venice was beautiful. The hotel arranged for a private late afternoon ( 5:30pm) private taxi tour of the waterways of Venice. It was by far the best deal in all of Venice! 2 full days in Venice was great!

Almost all ports seemed to be their shipping ports. Not conducive to walking, nor did they seem safe

The hour long tender ride to land was hot, cramped, and tidiest. Way too many in town to see much, but did enjoy the gondola ride. We then went to the Moreno glass factory for a demonstration. Temperature was in the high 90s.

Getting there and back was a challenge. We were bused to a boat that took us to Venice. Coming back it was reversed, but it was a very long walk from the boat to the terminal and then to the bus. The passengers with walking issues had trouble. I did the included excursion. I was not able to get into any of the sites. Too crowded and not enough time.

Did do an excursion to Venice but the ship was docked 1 1/2 hour away from Venice and it took a lot of time just in transport to and from.

This was cancelled very late. We had been to Venice last year, so not as big a deal for us, but its kind of false advertising to say this is a Venice Cruise. The work around to take a 2 hour RT bus for a short stay in Venice was not worth the value.
