Took the St. Mark's Experience. I did not enjoy this at all. The tour guides were not as engaging. I suggest to experience Venice on your own and skip the shore excursion given that the ship is docked overnight.

Venice was wonderful! Take the advise to "get lost in Venice" and explore the side streets. Is is like walking in another world - you feel like it is yours alone.

Especially appreciated the mood set at sail-in with appropriate music on outside decks, and Italian orchestra with tenor and videos of Venice later that evening

Lots of people in St. Marks square and sopping prices better away from the square. Good food, quaint places near the square. See Trip Advisor.com
