Venice, Italy Port Q&A

4.5
Our 'Venice' cruise disembarks in Fusina. Does Viking take guests to the port at Marittima? We are staying in Venice on our own for a couple days and Viking is not helpful at all you did not purchase Air or an extension from them (extremely disappointing).

I’m inclined to say no…it looks like Fusina is Ferry Terminal. Perhaps there are ferry’s to the island, or does Viking offer a transfer to the island at an additional cost. Are you on a river or ocean cruise with Viking.? For what you are paying, they should be more forthcoming with information.

Here's a Cruiseline.com/Shipmate article that might be helpful. https://cruiseline.com/advice/destinations/insider-s-guides/insiders-guide-to-venice-italy It includes info on water taxis.

The best way to get from Fusina to Venice without a car is to line 16 ferry which takes 25 min and costs €10. How long does it take to get from Fusina to Venice? The line 16 ferry from Fusina to Zattere Gesuati takes 25 min including transfers and departs every two hours.
