Did not care for Valencia at all, ship docked too far from sites to see, very desolate. It us a very confused city as far as design, you have a futuristic area, tgen an 1960s beat up town. The old town was not much to see, very disappointed. Tge shuttle from.ship dropped us off at a bus depo, no signs on where tnings ar, but lots of traffic. Would not return to Valencia.

Very industrial port. No walking to town but there is a shuttle for 10 euros round trip per person. Did the "Destination Highlight: City Visit and Oceanographic Museums". This was by far my favorite tour and well worth the cost. The tour around town was great because our group was small (12 people) and he was very nice. The Aquarium was excellent and we were able to see everything including the dolphin show.

The port itself is a nice port. You definitely need transportation to get into Valencia. If you elect to take the bus provided by Royal, you will be dumped in the city with no map, directions or anything and left to find your way back to this bus location on your own.

We did a walking tour of Valencia that was fantastic! Loved the high-tech looking new buildings that housed a museum and other cool places. This was our favorite stop on the cruise! We'll go back when we get another chance.

Would like to return to visit the museums. AMAZING architecture. We picked the wrong excursion unfortunately. (If your tour mentions a Sky Bar, chose a different tour).

It was pouring rain the whole time. Our tour guide wasn’t great either. It is still a place we would return to though.

Cathedral is really somthing. The port itself is a logistical problem

No excursion necessary, the shuttle bus to city center gets you right where you want to be & ability to explore city market at your leisure.
