Walked around town and also took the tram to go to San Cristobal, a world heritage site.

Husband went scuba diving. Very nice town. Really enjoyed our day here.

It was very interesting and different than we expected - lots of fun things to see and learn. We had a good guide and nice time on our excursion.

We took the MT. Tiede excursion. We enjoyed it. Going up the mountain we went through ice and snow but on the top it was 70's warm and sunny. A nice excursion but really didn't see anything else of the island that looked interesting.

We visited the resort area of Puerto de La Cruz with a black sandy beach. I wish we could have stayed there longer because it truly was beautiful. From there we visited the Sitio Litre Orchard Gardens. It was very nice but kind of smaller than we expected.

Very busy city & a bit dirty. Not much to recommend it & maybe shows you why we tend to go to this island for beach holidays. We did visit La Laguna (old capital) on the tram which was good fun. Worth doing on your own & easy to do so. No excursion.

Skip Santa Cruz and go to La Laguna. An easy and cheap light rail ride from near the port, which is close in to the center of Sana Cruz. La Laguna is an historic and charming small town that used to be the capital of Tenerife.
