I had been to this port before but never got off the ship as I had heard such bad things! So this time we got off, it was fine, there was a church & the shopping was amazing! We had a great pizza for lunch & then walked back to the shop with all the new shoes!!

Weather didn’t cooperate for Capri so we did Sorrento instead. Beautiful town and the ride there with views of Mount Vesuvius was incredible.

Great port but too many options for such a short time. The Isle of Capri is beautiful but terribly overcrowded and if you want to see the Blue Grotto be prepared for a 2 hour wait in line in the hot sun.

Lots to do- Herculaneum, Pompeii, Vesuvius, and Sorrento. Private tours are reasonable. We found quite a few online and used a private taxi at the port for €95 and went to Ercolano (the other village covered by the '79 AD eruption).
