Bad conditions delayed docking and we missed our independent excursion to Alhambra, but we were able to walk to the Alcazaba and found stunning views.

I went to the Picasso museum. I liked it very much and had lunch. It was nice.

In Malaga we took the Hop on Hop off bus around the city. It was a good way to get around and we enjoyed walking around the old town and cathedral. The only disappointment was this had been advertised on the ship as €10 per person, but when we bought tickets in the terminal they insisted that was wrong and there was no chance of a discount, charging €25 per person.

Enjoyed walking around the city center just off the port. Very nice area to just enjoy the town.

Did an excursion to a brilliant water park - wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful port! I have never been let down by Spain. There is a beautiful fortress and cathedral that are must sees. Don’t miss them!

This was a nice and modern port to visit. There were many restaurants and shops within walking distance of the pier. We took the provided shuttle for €5 each to the city and enjoyed the clean and comfortable streets of the city center. We ate an amazing ham and cheese tray followed by paella. We also enjoyed their local wine and beer. We chose to walk back to see the shops along the way. It may have been a 20-30 minutes slow walk. Along the way was a beach that we didn’t visit since we traveled in the cooler season. It was only a few minutes from the ship. This may be worth checking into during warmer times.
