We went to the Picasso Museum. We wanted to take a particular excursion but it was full.

Chefs tour was a highlight of our cruise. Outstanding and the tour of the ships galleys and the dinner was sooooo wonderful. Cannot say enough good things.

We did the 4×4 jeep excursion into the mountains which was fantastic. The scenery was stunning and we stopped at a mountain village and at the peak of the mountains for a break and to take photos. On the way back, we went to a cafe in Competa for tapas. I had grilled aubergine ones with drizzled molasses and fresh apple juice. It was the perfect way to end the day. The guide was knowledgeable but humorous which make it very enjoyable.

"Granada’s Soul of Andalucía" name of the excursion. Saw another beautiful old church on top of the hill. View of the valley below is amazing.

Malaga is a busy, vibrant city and we've been here a few times before for several days at a time. The one-day port stop was good, but didn't give much time to see things. We have been to the Nerja caves & found it a little boring. Touring the castle on segways or some of the other excursions are better.

Was injured in fall on ships steps, breaking my shoulder, so that ended our touring. Spent the day at the hospital.

Our tour guide was more interested in selling us real estate than showing us the interesting sites of Malaga. After an hour of driving around and he showing the various apartments that were available and what they cost, he allowed the people to exit the bus and he would continue with his discussion, the only problem was that the people in the front of the line heard what he had to say (perhaps they were interested in buying an apartment?) and the people at the back of the line were left to their own imaginings. I did want to see the church, the amphitheater, and the castle, even if we got to do this in passing it would have been nice. As it was, they were only mentioned as a passing remark and we were back on to the cost of real estate.

We did an excursion to two towns and we thought it was so bad we asked for a refund. The bus ride was 1 1/2 hours. The guide took us to the first town, walked us up into the middle of the old town in front of the church, said a few words and said we could either walk around there or follow him back to the direction of the bus. Once there he walked us down to the marina, and pointed us the direction to walk around for a half hour, back on the bus and another 1 1/2 bus ride back to the ship.

The hop on hop off bus was a joke. It was shared by 3 large boats. Once off it was hard to get back on due to limited seating for the number of boats.
