I had Lisbon and Porto high on my list of places to see. We did not do an excursion here. There were so many buildings in desperate need of repair they overshadowed the ones that were in good shape. I think I had seen too many pictures online prior to seeing this port in person and perhaps I had an unrealistic expectation of the port.

Good city tour even though guide had poor English, enjoyed Oporto

Tour guide was not having her best day at keeping group together & on schedule, eliminated one stop completely.

Porto looked good and inviting and full of life and energy. The opposite of Lisbon. Unfortunately, the winds were such, that we missed docking in the morning, and couldn't get to port until noon, so all the excursions were canceled. It was so unfortunate. We took the shuttle (Celebrity offered it free because of the shore excursion cancellations) into town and did our own tour.
