We did walk on our own. It was 4 of us so took a Taxi to Ibiza Castle. Walking to it is 45 minutes.. Taxi was 10 euros for the 4 of us and they were able to drop us right at the castle. City center ferry is 6 euros RT. There was a long queue for both but the taxi moved fast. Once at the castle the views were great. The Cathedral is a 10 min walk but it was closed for reparations. From there went to Marina and then a Taxi to a beach club at the Ses Salines beach..not high season so no chairs or umbrellas available so hanged out for 2 hrs Able to buy some drinks.. Weather was great and still not high season so not a lot of tourists..

A pleasant surprise. We have all heard the reports of the clubs and loud music, however a lovely place with lots to see and do and very clean.

Took a taxi to the beach club areas and it was dead and expensive (and honestly not very nice) so we ended up going back to Old Ibiza Town and walking around the walled city. Views were great! Stopped and had some sangria and it was a delightful afternoon. Ended up going back to the ship early to just hang out by the pool and have a late lunch.

Liked Ibiza. Good time to be there as it was the end of their tourist season so not very crowded. We took a tour of old town (also called upper town), and this was well worth it. Lots of nice shops and cute restaurants. Our tour was in the morning so this left enough free time in the afternoon to do your own thing.

We hadn't visited Ibiza before, so we took a bus into the town and explored on our own. The fort and the old town are well worth a visit. We got the boat shuttle back to the ship (€4 return if I remember correctly). We were docked until four in the morning, so after dinner we walked back to to the town, as it was cool enough to do so, and had a drink overlooking the water. It was very busy, but not manic. We got the boat shuttle back to the ship, bobbing along in the pitch black! Unusual experience.

This Spanish island is gorgeous and visiting old town Ibiza didn’t disappoint. Take the time to walk up to Ibiza Castle, the views are spectacular!

Went to beach for the day, swimming in warm mediterranean water was great and seeing schools of fish alongside.
