Went to local market and bought some spices

It's an old town, love the food market and bought some spices.

Took the Wonders of Seville Tour through Cruiseline.com. Enjoyed the tour, however for some reason the tour could not get tickets to the Seville Cathedral (which was to be 90 minutes in duration) and one of the highlights of the tour.

lots of places to see and do.

No excursion, but I did get off the ship with two other solo cruisers and toured Cadiz. It's another beautiful city. I would go there again.

LOVED THIS PORT!! We want to return and spend a few weeks here. We did the hop on hop off bus to see the sights.

This was a highlight - cruising the river and squeezing through locks and beneath a suspension bridge to dock in the heart of Seville was truly special and made the overnight port stay very convenient. The cathedral is magnificent and Plaza de España is a photographer’s dream.

Very interesting and worthwhile port with a fascinating history as perhaps the oldest city in Western Europe and an important trading port for many centuries. They also have impressive fortifications and city walls that enabled the city to avoid capture by Napolean's army in the 1807-1814 period.
