The town was 25 min drive from the port. Fortunately they announced an organized shuttle service to town the day before.

Lovely port to walk around along the water and look at the beautiful homes and beaches

Bilboa was by far the best port call by far. The Paris port of call was cancelled, but Bilboa was awesome and we would like to travel there again.

Took a bus to Bilbao. Enjoyed the day walking along the river in front of the museum. Beautiful city!

We took free shuttle to Algorta metro station, then metro to casco viejo to explore old town. Easy to use, metro staff very helpful. Great shops.

We didn't do an excursion because they didn't not interest us and they were expensive. There was supposed to be a shuttle bus to take us from the ship to the square, however they only had two buses and the line was very long. So we walked it instead. I'm glad we walked the town because we got to see the gondola, and we stumbled upon people making a human tower.

Probably my favourite of the ports, the bus ride there was short and the views of the city were great, the food is a must try, the guggenheim museum is facinating and I would love to go again.
