No excursions through the cruise line. A lot of history here, but make sure you have a tour lined up, as the sights would be easy to miss

Biking in Barcelona was AMAZING and a must do. It allowed us the opportunity to see the entire city.

I would love to go back and spend more time here. We did a "hop-on, hop-off" bus tour and got a flavor of what is to see. We saw the amazing Sagrada Familia - don't miss this. We went up in one of the towers, but I wouldn't recommend it if you are skittish about heights. And walked in the areas of our hotels to see the Casa Mila and Casa Batlo. So much more to see and do.

We went kayaking and paddle boarding then got the hop on hop off bus. The easiest and best way to see the city in limited time

Went three days early to see the sights. Got on the hop on hop off bus for two day, two different routes. It was great.

We did a wonderful excursion. The ship altered our tour somewhat out of respect for the terrorist victims. We were in complete agreement.

A beautiful city with wonderful people. Spent one night after our cruise in the Gothic District and it was so great to walk around to shops, eat, and see a cathedral. We also got to see a friendly soccer match. Would definitely go back. Wish we could have stayed longer! (Note: like many large cities, petty theft is rampant here, so just be mindful of your surroundings and keep your valuables hidden.)

My love for Barcelona flourished after the cruise. We spent three days post trip. We did not participate in any excursion

Add a day or two at the end of your trip to truly explore the city. It is well worth the time.

Did the Gaudi tour which included inside of the Sagrada Familia, which was well worth it. Barcelona doesn’t feel like a city due to the wide tree lined streets and curved intersections. Would return.
