Disembarked after 14 days of transatlantic cruise. Visited Sagrada Familia again and it is still as gaudy as five years ago!

We spent 2 days here pre cruise and it seemed like we could have enjoyed another day. But we were so excited for the cruise to start so 2 days was probably ok for us. Gorgeous and neat city! We stayed near the Gothic area which was just perfect. Close to Sagrada Familia and La Rambla was amazing and we even saw a live, authentic Flamenco Show! Enjoyed a magnificent anniversary dinner at an Argentina restaurant. :)

What a cool city, the la segrada familia is amazing and worth going just for that. If going to eat down las Ramblas its cheaper to eat on the outside as the centre is very expensive

Absolutely loved Barcelona. Easy to get from airport to hotel and from hotel to port. Public transportation is simple and cheap. Can’t wait to go back in 2019! Did not get to see Sagrada Familia last time, so it is on my bucket list for the next trip!

Just for the info of fellow cruisers who look for alternatives with checking out ports and such ... we are spending a few pre-cruise days here in Barcelona and are doing self guided walking tours using Visit A City’s app. It has been easy to use, and easy to edit to the particular things you want to see, time to start and spend at each site visited. There is lots of info on each site and even an audio segment. The map worked well and with the GPS guide with their mapping it took us right to where we wanted to go. Fantastic App. We will be using it for many of our ports on the 24 days of our b2b. Happy cruising!

My new favorite city in the world. So many can’t miss sites. We arrived 3 days before our cruise and it was well worth it. Must see Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, Camp Nou if you are a Barcelona FC or Lionel Messi fan

Loved even with the issues related to the elections. Piece of advice if you happen to find yourself in Barcelona on the first Sunday of the mouth. Admission is free to ALL major museums and parks including Picasso and La Familia Sagrada but book your tickets ahead of time using tiqets app

Gaudi House, Sagrada Familia, the Picasso museum, Park Guell, Camp Nou, la Rambla. Holy moly, these are all in the same city? LOVE Barcelona. There is SO much to do and see, and it’s a relatively easy city to get around. The people are super friendly. Barcelona is one of our favorite places. We will be going back for another TA in November 2019. Can’t wait.

How could one not like Barcelona. Pre and post cruise days there made it easy to visit. Even in the summer.
