It would be worth your time to spend extra days in Barcelona. I recommend Hotel Ohla, or La Meridian.

Barcelona is a true gem. Perfect city; great tourism and attractions. Just needs to find ways to accommodate them all, as the weekend and cruise ship tourism has overwhelmed the local culture. But they're trying.

We arrived two days before our cruise and had a chance to take the train to Monserrat. Wonderful art at the museum and the scenery is breathtaking. The Familia cathedral was breathtaking. Barcelona is a wonderful city.
