Cute town.

We did not spend much time in port, so I am not rating the port itself. We were disappointed that the cruise did not have an option to journey to Geirangerfjorden, so decided to rent a car and travel their on our own. This was a spectacular trip which I would highly recommend. It was an all day trip. Roads were easy to travel, ferries were perfectly timed, and the views were amazing.

The town was interesting, but we were disappointed in the tours again. Our aquarium experience consisted of being driven to the facility and being dropped at the curb and then told that the bus would return in an hour and 15 minutes. No background info, cultural orientation, etc. The town is very picturesque and our guide was informative, although we were dropped off at a church for a ten minute visit. Not well organized.

Stranda Mountain Explorer. Great excursion! Took cable car to the top of the mountain. Great views

Love the port and the excursion. It was beautiful.

We enjoyed the coach trip which showed fjord villages and beautiful scenery.

Great tour with good guide. Friendly helpful residents. Our suitcase lost a wheel and we needed a new suitcase. Attendants in store super helpful and directed us to store with discount cases.

Kayaking was cancelled as it was too tough to get out of the harbor because of wind. It was raining hard as well. It's a very, very long walk back to the ship. Directions are not everyone and it's a little puzzling where to go. We didn't see much of the city that supposed to be very nice.
