We booked one of many mini buses. Interesting town, great to see the monkeys in areas fine for tourists. Or you can choose to take the cable car up and walk down.

We just did our own walking tour. It is a considerable distance from the terminal to the Jew's Gate (one hour and 15 minutes) to climb the Rock via the Mediterranean steps. You do need to be fairly fit to do this all on your own. Overall this was our longest walking day of the cruise (24,000 steps)

Another outstanding port, with beautiful views of the Atlantic and Mediterranean. We enjoyed seeing the Gibraltar Apes and the military tunnels from WWII. You can also see Spain and Northern Africa from this port. Our sailaway was beautiful!

On our third port we had an excursion by taxi to see the Rock of Gibraltar and Saint Michaels Cave. The road up to the cave was narrow and a little scary. The cave was lit up with different colors which made it come alive. On the way down we stopped to take a few pictures with the monkeys who are common there. Fortunately they have an area where they feed the monkeys so they were tame towards tourists.  At the end of our tour we explored the main shopping and restaurant area of Gibraltar and had Fish and Chips from Roy’s.

Tour was nice. Cave tour & Barbary apes were wonderful. Apes were not aggressive.
