This port is not attractive and the ship stayed a few hours.

We just did our own walking tour. It is a considerable distance from the terminal to the Jew's Gate (one hour and 15 minutes) to climb the Rock via the Mediterranean steps. You do need to be fairly fit to do this all on your own. Overall this was our longest walking day of the cruise (24,000 steps)

Another outstanding port, with beautiful views of the Atlantic and Mediterranean. We enjoyed seeing the Gibraltar Apes and the military tunnels from WWII. You can also see Spain and Northern Africa from this port. Our sailaway was beautiful!

We did an excursion through the boat which was only eh and overpriced. But in the morning walked off the boat and got a guy who gave us a great tour up the mountain. Don't waste money on cruise tour.

We booked one of many mini buses. Interesting town, great to see the monkeys in areas fine for tourists. Or you can choose to take the cable car up and walk down.

Disembarked and took a taxi tour of the rock, it was a few hours, and it left us time to still enjoy time back on the ship.

This was a cool place wish we could’ve had more time.
