We didn't spend any time in the port area, as we took a ship's excursion to Jumilla, about 90 minutes to the northwest to visit two vineyards. It was a good excursion, and we sampled some excellent wines.

The Norwegian Star was able to dock right next to the town. Great view of the City from our balcony. We were so close, I felt like we were staying in own. Our excursion was a wonderful tour by trolley train.

Roman theatre is amazing. a short walk from the ship. so much history. you can buy a pass from the theatre that takes you to points of interest. really enjoyed our time here and amazing views from the viewing tower.

Private cab driver guide was awesome , saw all the Roman ruins, etc plus time to go the Marine Archeological museum.
