I absolutely love Scotland and Ullapool so beautiful and more charming than I imagined. Went on Knockan Crag hike which was challenging due to annoying insects and deer flies and rainy weather. There was also a bit of a time crunch so one had to work to keep up-very steep climb and many were not prepared and held up group. We had a geologist but was hard to listen to as the insects really were very distracting. Would return to hike without guide because was a beautiful site.

Long bus ride to see the gardens, would not recommend or do it again.

This stop was changed to Portree. we misplanned our onboard activities and missed our opportunity to go shore. We didn't realize the departure time was so early in the day. (1:30pm)

Tiny harbor with several nice shops. They have a wonderful lunch spot with a food truck and outdoor seating called the Seafood Shack. The owners fishes and his wife and daughter cook. We had an incredible lunch there and were able to chat with Scots who were there on a visit.
