Did the Romantic Orbidos tour and it was nice, interesting to see the old structures. Had enough time to explore.

I love Lisbon! Had an excursion on riding the Tram around the City. Served the pastel that melts in your mouth, the best pastel I ever had. Then, they also served us a wine that goes well with the pastel, wow, what a treat. Love the stories about the Portugal and all its battles. I promise myself that I will be back there to visit for a week to really enjoy the country.

Wish I had had more time to explore Portugal. The area is beautiful... Sintra was my favorite. We had a tour with Marcos Sobral from We Hate Tourism Tours. That guy is 'crazy' and I have to admit I was a little scared at the beginning of the tour. He talks so fast and is so loud and a crazy driver, always hitting the horn! However... it all turned out great. He was very knowledgeable and had such passion. Turns out he is a photographer as well. He took us to many lovely places that we would never have found on our own.

By far the best tour we did. It was a small party of ten and the food and drink was delicious. The sail away party was brilliant.

Lisbon town has plenty of sights to see on foot. The Hop on Hop off can be a nightmare. We planned on staying on for the whole of the ‘red line’ and then walk back to the attractions we found interesting. Not a good idea with 5 cruise ships in port. It was a 3 hour ride. Stay on foot and head up the hills.

Plenty to do in this city. Hop on tram no 12 which does more or less the same journey as no 28 but the other way round. Take a bus or tram to Belem where there is lots to see or walk through Alfama up to Sao Jorge Castle for a breath takibg 360* view of the city & coast line. Try the local cherry liqueur Ginjinha served in a real chocolate cup that you eat after knocking back the drink inside.
