This was my favorite ships excursion. We went to the D-Day beaches at Normandy. This was a truly wonderful experience.

For the majority of the passengers, Normandy was the reason we went on this cruise and it proved itself over and over. Every American who has the opportunity should go to Normandy Beaches. It stirs a deep feeling of patriotism and gratitude for what was done there. High point of the entire trip.

I love this port, keep finding new things and places to explore. Take the funicular fairway to take you up the hill behind the town. Don’t forget the beach and the tram 😁👌

Cruised last year for 75th anniversary of DDay! Being Canadian no excursions were offered for Juno Beach so we rented a car and drove ourselves. Car rental available at port but book ahead. We had other ships at dock and they ran out of cars fast. Driving was easy but there are paid tolls. Juno Museum was all in English and amazing!

You'll spend about 6 hours on the road for 4 hours in Paris. For some, it's not worth it, but we had a great time walking around and having a leisurely lunch at a cafe. Our bus tour guide was excellent--stopped by every passenger on the ride in to talk about what they wanted to do and answer questions.

Take the train to Paris. When you get to Paris do the Hop on hop off Bus!

Had a great tour guide on excurtion to Paris.She was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English We saw a lot of the city and had lunch at the Eiffel Tower. Only gave it 4 stars because excursion was listed as mild activity with 3-4 steps into bus and we ended up walking almost a mile to and from bus to Eiffel Tower. This was beyond my ability to walk and ended up taking taxi from Eiffel Tower to bus to meet deadline to go back to ship. I would not have taken this excursion if the walking had been listed.

The bus tour/Seine River excursion were well worth the cost. Guide Freddy and driver MoMo were super. Very informative and a wonder watching MoMo negotiate traffic was a wonder. Meal on exursion was beyond expectations.
