The port is too far away. It takes 2.5 hours no traffic to get to Paris and about the same to go to Mont St-Michel. Port is kindly out of no where in some riral and industrial place, there is nothing to see at the port.

Another favourite tour from the ship. I was thankful that Princess had this tour to Juno Beach for their Canadian passengers. I could have spent much longer in the museum but the tour gave us enough time to get the feel of what happened here. Great lunch provided at a local village restaurant. Moving tour of the beach itself and the Canadian Cemetery.

Do a ship excision from this port and visit the wonderful Normandy country side and learn all about the history. One of my favourite ports and one I would like to go back to as there is so much option in this area for a day trip. I took the d day beaches tour woth rc was a full day tour with sometime very short stops in locations that you could easily spend a couple hours to a half day in. Only negative to the excursion but it is a real taster and that's the point of cruises.
