We took the train into Glasgow and did our own walking tour of the architecture, which is amazing. The city is hilly but very clean. We'd like to come back here.

Took train to Glasgow but hard to get to train station. Long walk. Loved Glasgow! Lovely city and great shopping. Took hop on hop off bus. Best stop was Killengrove Museum! Absolutely the best art and paintings on the whole trip!

Self guided walk around Greenock was interesting and relaxing. Five hours r/t bus travel to Edinburgh for the Tattoo was the highlight of the trip. Princess even had the general dining room open upon our return at 1:30am! Otherwise our 4pm departure would have meant no formal meals most of the second half of day. Kudos to Princess for that.

It is an easy ride on the train to downtown Glasgow. The hop on hop off bus is a great option and takes you around the whole city. The Kelvingrove Museum and Glasgow Botanic Gardens are worth a visit.

Charming. City tour then time on own for shopping. Lots of options. Afternoon cruise on Loch Lomond. Beautiful

3 of 4 did Edinburgh tour. Good thing we booked through ship because there was an accident on roadway. 10 buses stuck in traffic; but we waited for everyone to get back.
