We independantly pre booked cable car tickets meaning you skip the ticket line. Went to Monte Gardens and the Botanical Gardens. In the afternoon we joined a ship tour to Reids hotel for a garden tour and afternoon tea. A very nice experience in a beautiful place

Awesome port. Clean and beautiful island. People were friendly and our tour excursion was awesome. We went to the cliff and stood on the glass platform over looking the cliff. It was awesome. Tip: If you go to the cliff the two shops there are cheaper than the fishing village. Funchal is a nice city. Very clean and easy to navigate.

Jewel of an island! We, although seniors with mobility problems, took the safari excursion and had a blast! (I’m talking 4-wheel drive off roading.). Madeira produces bananas, grapes (great wine), and cherries. Trees were in full bloom and gorgeous.
