Always rains when I'm here lol 😂 🙈 although shopping is pretty good, cable cars great way to see the sights and the toboggan ride is great fun down the hill 👍🏼👍🏼

Funchal is fantastic! Really loved our day here. You must take the cable car to the top. The views are amazing on the way up and at the top. We got the toboggan ride back down - so much fun! Cable ride was €11 one way. Toboggan €30 for two. It's a must to do if you come here!

We could have stayed here and not cruised any further. Stunning Funchal has got so much to do. Weather was fantastic. We did the cable car to Monte & the botanical gardens & the wicker basket ride down, we didn't do these in an excursion but on out own

Great place and the tobogans is a must. Family loved them. It is a very nice place to look around. But the wife didn't like the cable car. Might of been my fault as I rocked it just a little

Despite numerous visits to Funchal, the island capital never ceases to enchant. A ten to fifteen minute walk over mainly flat surfaces will bring you into the centre. Visit the fruit and flower market, take the cable car up to Monte and come back down on the famous wicker baskets. Taste the world renowned Madeira wine, enjoy the year round floral displays...the list goes on.

Had a fantastic shore excursion courtesy of Eddy Santos, Eddy_maderia@hotmail.com we stepped off the shuttle bus and he was there. He's a lovely guy so friendly and polite, speaks excellent English. Took us to 4 tourist spots. Let us off at the top of small hill so we could wander down enjoying amazing views, meeting us in the town at the bottom encouraging us to look around. He waited at every stop. At the cable car he helped us get tickets. Saw glass bottom view point. Took us to tobbogan last so we would miss the rush and not have to que. Thank u Eddy for a fantastic day in Funchal.

Nice port. We took a cable car to the top of the hill and experienced the toboggan ride going down. It’s a must experience when in Madeira. At first ,I was scared to ride on a basket but I’m glad I did it. It was fun!

One of our main attractions on the cruise. A beautiful Island. We did the ‘ Taste of Madeira and Cable Car (Funchal) excursion and also the not to be missed Toboggan ride. This excursion included visits to Gardens and wine taste and visit a lace making shop. A n excellent 4 hour trip, well organised.
