one of the staff told to go to the Manhattan room, and it turns out it was not the right place to be. we did not go to that excursion we had purchased. that was our first time there, and we did not go visit. we were looking forward to Monaco, ,no NCL staffs for guidance, no one to give instruction. we do not know if we will get that money back.

This particular port we chose a ship excursion and it was wonderful. The guide was very attentive and informative. My wife being able to speak Italian made it easy. It turns out the guide (Michaelangelo) has a home in the town that my wife was born in. Mola di Bari (what are the odds?)

Small city, very walkable, nice and clean. You don't need a full day at the port unless to enjoy the beach.

Long way to walk anywhere

Walked, went to a great beach, had local vino and pastries. We did not have enough time.

Rented a car here as no tour was offered for my priority. We drove to Vence to see the Rosary Chapel designed by Henri Matisse and then had lunch and exploration time in Antibes. Beautiful!

Decent day

Did bus tour through Nice to Monaco and Monte Carlo. Long bus ride but was nice seeing the countryside and hearing about the cities. Another busy port.

Went to Monaco. Did not live up to the hype. Old Town area was better than casino area by far.
