Excursion: Prunelli Gorges. Very scenic tour up in the mountains, loved it.

Took a ship tour, 2 hour walking to see the old city. We had a local food tasting, with a very knowlegable guide. After, we took the little train through town, followed by the hop-on-hop-off bus. Surprisingly inexpensive for Europe.

We witnessed a man punching another man a few steps from us on the main shopping street. We ran in the other direction and my kids kids never want to go back.

Lovely place to visit, town is less than 10 minutes from the port, so easy to do your own thing.

This port was such a surprise. Ajaccio was very interesting and full of friendly locals! The beach was beautiful, and we enjoyed an hour or so there. The market was lots of fun - wish I had gotten pics. Corsican wines are delicious and hard to find outside of Corsica so try them if you’re a wine need like me.

Les Calenches is a fabulous natural site. However, expect crowds and no public toilets.
