We didn't bother with the 5 hour plus return trip to Berlin, but Rostock and Warnemunde were we worth a visit, without the need for an excursion.

The trip to Berlin was long but splendid. Highly recommend making the trek. Those who did the Concentration Camp tour wish they had not done so. We did the all-day city tour, which was much better.

We caught the train to Schwerin and toured the castle. Stunning and amazing place. Then we stopped in Wismar for a beer at a really old brewpub. (As in older than the USA kinda old.)

Didn't see much of the port, as we opted to take the bus into Berlin. Very long day but enjoyed seeing the city and the historical landmarks.

Good. Stayed in Warnemunde and wasn’t disappointed. Beautiful town. Would go back.

A one day excursion does not do justice. The 3 hour train ride into Berling made for a long day with just 4 hours in berlin.
