Berlin was too far from the port to have any real time to spend there. The train ride was 3 hours each way so when we got to Berlin we spent very little time off the bus actually seeing anything.

Enjoyed exploring the village, and then did an excursion into Rostock, which was very interesting. Our guide Dieter was a wealth of historical information! Plus we experienced a tram ride, walking tour, and a ferry boat ride.

Buy a train ticket on the pier for a 30 min train ride to Rostock. Walk around, shop, sightsee and have lunch. Take the train back to Warnemunde and wonder up and down both sides of the canal and to the beach and back. Have dinner and beers and watch the people!

Didn't do the Berlin trip as we've been a few times already so we strolled around Warnemunde for a few hours. The weather was a bit cool and breezy so a few hours on the beach was out. There isn't a lot to do really though it is a nice seaside resort and would be OK with good weather.
