Stockholm is a very modern city. Gamla Stan is very old and intresting. We went on the skyview that went over the Ericson globe arena. It was not the most thrilling ride but cool. It gave you a panoramic view of the city. There is a good variety in the shops at the port. We went on the easy Stockholm and skyview tour. It was fun but in the end I would have rather gone to the vasa museum. Stockholm was a nice port.

Make sure you take one of the hop on hop off boats. They are an excellent way to get around and they have headphones you can use, or bring your own, and listen to descriptions in your choice of language.

Nice city did walk around tour and stopped in an Ice bar which was a cool experience

I actually arrived 3 days early to visit Stockholm. What a nice city. Personal excursions. Do NOT miss the Vasa Museum!! This is absolutely world class. I'll stop there, see by yourself.

Would have loved more time. And overnight, perhaps. Our tour of the Ice Bar, a walking tour of the old city, and the Vasa Museum was excellent.
