We really liked St. Petersburg. We took a private shore excursion for two days and it was jammed packed with site visits. 9am to 6 pm each day.

A chance of a lifetime to see Russia. We did a Princess excursion so as not to have to get a visa and our guide Anna was wonderful. It was a very intense two days (23.5 hours of sightseeing including a night at St. Catherine's Palace). The dinner at St. Catherine's Palace was very disappointing and not worth that portion of the excursion. The Church of the Spilled Blood was exactly what I thought "old" Russia would look like and the Hermitage was mind-blowing.

Did a private excursion, 2 day, with TJ Travel. Great guide and much better price than with the cruise line. That said, St Petersburg is a firehose tour. Way more to be seen than can be done in just two days. Glad we did not opt for an evening event after first day's walking, and walking, and walking.

What a wonder. And the reason for this cruise, which was one of a few spending 3 full days in SP. I did a 3-day a la carte private excursion booked outside Royal Caribbean. A 4th day wouldn't hurt! but 3 days are really needed.

We did the, "easy St Petersburg", shore excursion. Beautiful buildings & cathedrals, but felt very rushed considering we were in this port for 2 days

Good, did 1 and a half day excursion. Very good, would love to revisit. Our guide Frieda was excellent and the lunch was good too.
