London was crazy busy. We took the train in and out of the city from LHR. Booked a tour on the Grayline HOHO bus. Our experience was not that great.

Though we came straight from London to board this ship, a previous cruise from Southampton enabled us to visit some of the cultural offerings of this amazing city. As well it's a short bus ride to Portsmouth, where a visit to the Royal Dockyard is well worth your time.
