We flew in night before sailing. Nice town for shopping. However we waited over an hour at Southampton airport for a taxi to city centre. Very badly run, would recommend walking across to train station and getting a hackney taxi. Much quicker

Got to port Thu evening vs Saturday claiming to get ahead of storm. The cruise did provide free shuttles to center of S Hampton but nothing to do there - we took train to London. Weather was cold rainy miserable. Did take excursion next day to Stonehenge and Salisbury which was good, but also horrible weather

Just a turn around for us really. We did walk to the mall, which was not too far
