I stayed in London two days before the cruise, so all I did in Southampton was go from the train station to the cruise. I did have to rate it five stars because the British people were so helpful and friendly.

We arrived in Southampton a day before embarkation. It's a lovely town.

No, we did not do an excursion. But, it was easy to maneuver to gain access to the ship.

For us boarding went fine, on the ship within 45 minutes. Some others had a hold up do to a surprise safety inspection.

Didn't look around Southampton as we can visit at any time

It rained the whole time so unfortunately we did not see much in Southampton.

We've been to Southampton many times before and used our time stocking up on books, crisps, tea and mince pies.

I'm sure it was ok but really didn't do much

No alcohol while in port until you reached international waters. Boarded early just to have lunch and get a drink. Lots of grumpy people.

Good place to start and end
