The port is really efficient and parking your car never been so close to the ship. It took us only a few minutes from parking to the ship. Excellent service.

Southampton is a great little city. Didn't even mind the rain while we walked around. Spent some time in the titanic museum which was interesting. Love cruising out of this port

Best port, The home of cruising. Sports, theme parks, london, titanic. We've got it all. Honestly dont understand people giving it less than 5. Dont give it a low rating because it is only a turnaround port.

Sailing out of Southampton was a breeze, easily one of the smoothest and lightest embarkations I've experienced. We made it to the ship via a stop at Stonehenge, that was pretty cool. Now that I've seen it, I don't know that I'd go out of my way to see it again, it was very touristy, and the ques long. We didn't hit any of the delays due to the ring-road construction, so that was a bonus. Once in the terminal, we were checked in and on the boat in less than 10min.

I may lean towards favouring Southampton, as I was born here, I have lived here for my entire life and have no plans of uprooting. I am very proud of Southampton as a port city and the things that we have to offer here. Please feel free to add/message me for any advice. I'm pretty well versed as I pretty much live in the centre of the City (I can see ships (sometimes) from my front door!

Once on an layover for back to back cruise, we walked over to the ferry and took it over to The Isle of Wight. Spend time walking around, eating local fish and chips. Ferry back and just walked past all the other passengers embarking, right back to our room! Fun May do it again on our next cruise!

Great city to explore! From the Titanic museum, great walking tour around the old city wall, friendly people and some great local eateries and very English food! A city is always what you make it! Enjoy....!

My home port. Plenty to see in Southampton. Don’t disappear up to London. It’s a medieval city so lots of buildings that are hundreds of years old. Very good restaurants outside the West Quay shopping mall and some good hotels to stay in.
