National Express, it's fairly cheap and it's an easy ride. Drop off is waking distance from most hotels.

Fastest way is a taxi. Second fastest is National Express which is direct. When choosing a bus time do make note that it can take up to 90 minutes to get through Heathrow to get to bus terminal. Next would be the train but unfortunately Heathrow does not have a rail system. You’d have to either take the tube into London or reading and catch direct trains from either of these places. In order of price from lowest to most expensive, National Express, Train and taxi.

The fastest shuttle is clearly the space shuttle, alas it stopped that route a few years ago. ☹️

There is a taxi desk near the baggage claim. Fastest way to get where you want to go. Relatively inexpensive.

I’ll be trying the National Express from Heathrow to Southampton. Highly recommended from a FB friend.
