All you need for Skagen is a bicycle. There are bicycles for rent right at the port as soon as you get out of the ship for $10 or 10euros. Don't forget to go see the baby seals at the north most point of Denmark

The first port of call on our recent Baltic cruise. Only in port for half a day but had plenty of time to walk to where the Baltic and North sea meet, beautiful beach, lovely walk but no baby seals! Town is quaint and pretty quiet and an easy walk from the cruise terminal. The all important fridge magnet available at the shop on the quay. Enjoyed our time in Skagen.

It helped to realize that Skagen is a summer resort location, but the number of restaurants and craft shops gave it a kind of tourist trap atmosphere. Once again we went on our own and walked both into town and back to the ship. The exercise itself was good, but I found Skagen itself almost overwhelmed by around 3000 people visiting from the cruise ship.

The time was suitable for the lovely small town to discover and walk through... we’ve walk through the local shops And then rent bicycles to Grenen.. one of the lovely memorable cycling I didn’t around the world, the weather was great ... only the windy weather we faced later on got us lot of difficulty to go back by the bicycle to the rental shop next to the port But at the end I got amazing time, pictures, memories which I will never forget 💕
