Overall scenic drive viewing waterfalls. Visited garden that was created by priest in the 1800s that is still maintained by local farmers.

Booked a super jeep ride in town. Just us and another couple and it was half the price of the Windstar excursions. The driver/tour guide was great and told us a lot about the area as we rode to the top of the Westfjords mountains which had amazing views. He also took us to see the ski resort, which is the lowest altitude ski resort in the world!

We took a panoramic drive through the Westfjords to the Dynjandi waterfall. It was so beautiful-well worth a visit.. Be sure to walk up to the upper falls for a closer view. I also visited Sudureyri which is a quiet fishing village. Not too much to see here,- the taste of fresh seafood was good.

Viatour excursion was lengthy but that was necessary as sites are located a good distance from one another.

We had a Celebrity shore excursion and the excursion staff did not do a good job of organizing our tour.

Nothing there.

Interesting - we arranged a very nice private shore excursion on our own.
