If your looking for a private tour while in Dublin, I have the best guy to recommend. We were on a land tour and at the end of our tour we booked a 1 day private tour. He was totally awesome. Tell him what you would like to see and do and he will work something up for you. Of course he has Tours you can select from too. Went on City tour which gave me a nice taste of the city. Looks to be a nice city to explore. Had a great guide who made the trip very interesting. Ship provided lots of shuttle buses for those wanting to explore.

We spent 2 days in Dublin. Took the ships shuttle into town and did a hop on hop off bus. Beautiful city

Party town! The trip to Ballykocken (sp?) was fun and enabled some quite pastoral time.

Awesome city. Visited Peterson pipe store, Trinity College, which is beautiful and walked around taking in sites. Visited the Brazen Head, which is supposed to be the oldest pub in Ireland. Will visit again some day.

Lots of things to do in Dublin and highly recommend a few nights pre and /or post. At least one day is needed just to do the highlights of Dublin and would recommend another one or two for additional exploring time. The city center is very walkable and lots of great pubs and shopping.

We had engine failure and didn’t get here until 3:30. So by the time we got to Dublin everything was closed. But the hop on hop off bus saved us and we got to see at least a few things. Gotta make the most out of a bad situation.

It is not an official excursion, but I highly recommend visiting Kilmainham Gaol, just an easy taxi ride from city center. We learned so much about Ireland's struggles for independence and got to see where so much history happened. Also, be sure to eat lunch in a pub and have a pint of Guinness!
