We only had till 1pm in Bergen which was not enough, the open top bus tour is a complete rip off price wise but it will show you Bergen. We got off near The Bryggen and by the time we had visited all the shops it was time to go back and so missed half the bus tour. Bergen is lovely city with great shops. You have to go to The Bryggen for sure.

Bergen is another really lovely European city and was a favorite stop on our trip. The bus/walking tour gave us a great overview of the city, and the guide was very helpful in telling us how to get around if we didn't want to end our tour when the bus returned. It was very easy to navigate and provided us with some great shopping opportunities for beautiful Norwegian woolen goods.

Nice weather made this port an excellent port for walking. Walked the city & took the funicular for more sightseeing.

We enjoyed Bergen. Having been there before, we did not go on a ship excursion.

we did the Grieg's recital, an optional tour, this was very good. we walked the city on our own, which is very easy to do since the ship is docked by the old town.

Did a fjord tour. Modern city that we were going to walk but the weather was not great so didn’t get the chance.

we chose a bad tour but the port is great with the fish market and shops along the marina
