If you are there for a number of days pre/post cruise, like museums, get the Museumcard and save $$ and time in lines. Great value.

We spent a day earlier in Amsterdam and thoroughly enjoyed this vibrant, scenic and walkable city. Just beware of the massive amounts of bicycles in Amsterdam! We did Keukenhof Gardens, a canal boat tour and Ann Frank house.

Went around on our own and visited Anne Frank house.... Pre book is required!! Been several times before but still enjoyed walking around and shopping for souvenirs.

Although this port has gotten really busy which can be annoying, there is still so much to see and do. The Van Gogh museum is a must as well as Ann Frank's house, but these need to be booked in advance in the busy tourist months. We enjoyed Rijks Museum and would recommend it.

This was definitely geared towards the cruise ships. They had their own place to take pictures as you were disembarking the ship and when you returned they had their own little place to go shopping. So this was nice.
